It's been documented and Debbie verified that the "Good Morning" number was so tough that the three literally worked thru the night getting the steps down...and her feet were actually bleeding.
Gene Kelly was a known task master but the art speaks for itself. And it's VERY hard to think that any 19 year old today would have the discipline to learn the routines she did.
