You make the mistake of thinking all experimentation leads somewhere fruitful. Most experimentation dead-ends, like circuit bending has. It has made no important contributions to music. "Noise bands" will not be remembered in history. You're not a genius just because people don't understand you. Move on.

sub culture?circuit bending has been used in many mainstream music.you obviously have no real musical interest if you think circuit bending is pointless.for 5.00 i can take a keyboard that was destined for the landfill and turn it into a 800.00 or more synth,that i couldnt have afforded to go out and buy.i also can modify a toy and get a sound that i couldnt have produced on any other instrument.experimentation breeds new forms of music,but i guess that is all just pretty colors to you.

the NES runs on 9VDC, not AC. the transformer/power supply is external, not integral.

You know what? These freak images of a bent Nintendo 8 bit were seen before... remember when the console was turned on for more than 2 hours? Nintendos are all natural born BENT. They were always generating freak images, characters shaped as numbers, weird backgrounds, and sometimes, non-sense bugged stages. LOL
