just watched "The Paleface". Bob Hope is just one of the funniest guys that ever lived.

At that time, everyone knew and loved these three stars. There is no one today to match their universal popularity.

Which was worse: the Duke's tie or Bing's jacket?

What a line up! Talk show hosts would kill for guests half as good nowadays. Oh to have been Stephanie, the girl in the shirt!!! Thanks for uploading this gem.

Today's entertainment dynamic does not produce stars of the magnitude of Hope, Bing, and Wayne anymore. Multi-skilled entertainers aren't needed when CGI will do all the wizardry for the actors now. Singing and dancing, writing and hosting, these are less needed in a techno-saturated industry ... fact is, these three men will never be topped, EVER! Wayne alone eclipses any three modern stars (Jack, Clint, Pacino, etc). As a teacher, my students watch the Duke's films in my class, and love them.

its the way people were raised back in the day...ur right..its a real shame the "old boots" are gone. we still got rickles..i think he still performs! still some class left on stage!

What passes for talent these days is a joke.
I'd STILL rather see Rickles host the tonight show today! People don't know what they missed
in the days when so many big talents were on T.V. regularly. Smiley Sirus and Dane Kook?
Gimme a break!
