this is a great step to the future and i dont think religions has any thing to do with that :S
but really great job and it will help alot of those pepole who lost their parts.
some may not care cuz they dont know what its like to lose an arm or a leg, why dont you just cut your hand and feel the pain of none-complete.

Sorry, but it is not clear who you are refering to.
My opinion: religion doesnt really have all that much to do with it. Robotic limbs are just another tool. Just like a simple rock, you can use them for good or evil. Free will has been granted to us, and that can be attributed to religion.
So it is up to us how to use technology. There is nothing wrong, in my opinion, with finding a solution to someones medical problem. We have been doing the same thing since the ancient times.

Excuse me, but your random and unprovoked attack on religion is simply offensive. I don't see any Christians trying to put down the merits of science in the way that you're demeaning religion. Why are you allowed to bash religion when no one has made any negative comments about science in favor of religion? Isn't this biased lashing-out exactly what you're condemning Christians for? This video and the comments were overwhelmingly positive until I reached this post. It's just plain rude.

wow!!! Imagine: there's also motor neural implants successfully working with monkeys that control these arms.
The chip decodes the info generated by the motor cortex (brain) and sends it to the arms. The monkey was able to reach for a banana when it saw one! So, within less than 20 years, people could control these arms with their brain as normal arms! I learned that while doing my neuroscience degree! science rocks!!

The narrator's voice sounds like Katherine Heigl.
