is there any evidence whatsoever that shakespeare actually wrote the plays? just wondering.....

It's quite simple: Shakespeare wrote Shakespeare's plays.
To doubt that is mere waste of time.
Period.

I agree with you one hundred percent. It has also been proven that Michelangelo didn't paint the Sistene Chapel. It was the pope! And Tolstoy never wrote War and Peace. It was the Czar!! Einstein never came up with the theory of relativiy. He was no aristocrat! Plus he was Jewish! What's this conspiracy to say these people ever had the nerve to accomplish anything when real pride comes with social standing!

None of the evidence regarding the theory that Shakespeare wasn't the author of 38 plays (co-writer of some of these) is convincing. The reason is that the evidence available that Shakespeare was the author far outweighs the evidence any of these theories have presented.

But here's for IDENTITY: Look at the CHANDOS PORTRAIT and the FIRST PROOF of the DROESHOUT print, and tell me that man is not JEWISH! Does he look anything Anglo-Saxon? Amazingly NOT!! Too bad the British would have lynched him or burned him if they ever found that out

The whole Shakespeare authorship issue is bullshit hype generated by f a s c i s t brit fanatics of the english caste system who can't stand the sheer FACT THAT A PERSON OF LOWER STANDING THAN THEMSELVES COULD HAPPEN TO BE A GENIUS

Shakespeare was immersed in play writing on a daily basis for a long time and the plays often reflect what was happening at the time. It's snobbish to think that only an aristo could write them. The theory is that someone not educated to degree level could not have done it or someone that came from a glover's family, but his family was middle class and his education was a good middle class education for the day. He read stories, worked hard and had natural talent too.

I believe that Shakespeare did, indeed, write the Shakespeare canon because nowhere in the history of anything in this entire world is anything so astoundingly brilliant. I'm rereading the plays right now (Richard III) and I am still overwhelmed by them. Shakespeare IS Shakespeare, the same way Mozart is Mozart and not Salieri. Or even the way Allan Ginsberg IS Allan Ginsberg: I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by
madness.... Howl could not have been written by ANYBODY else.

Thanks for your comment. The aim of my documentary was not to compare the authors and their writing styles but to give voice to the different groups who are passionate about who they think actually wrote the plays which bear Shakespeare's name. |
