And I was stationed at the HHD, 22nd Repl Bn in 71. I think I got to that beach once or twice. All the guys in the blue pajamas are probably from the 6th Conval. Center. My job was to go to the airport and take the drug addicts to the hospital before they left for the world. Dave

I was there in 1971 - stationed across the road at the 22nd Replacement Battalion. At least we had a beach, right?

I was there. It wasn't as "easy" as you think. In Aug 1969 the VC blew the place to hell.

Thanks for this video. I am vietnamese who was born during the war and left VN 8 yrs after the war. I did not get to see much of the country growing up so it is great to see this. Cam ranh bay is a beautiful area that I will have to visit.
